For gay travelers, that combination is what makes Miami useful. You can build a weekend around oceanfront glamour, good tables, and late social hours, then decide whether the night wants South Beach familiarity, a Wynwood detour, or a clean train-and-car hop north for Fort Lauderdale. Few American destinations offer that much variety with quite so much sunshine attached.
